Joshua Brisman, Marriage & Family Therapist Intern

Joshua is a Marriage & Family Therapist Intern and graduate student at Syracuse University. Joshua follows a systemic approach to therapy where he focuses on understanding individuals and their challenges within the relationships and systems they’re a part of. Joshua prioritizes the therapeutic relationship and believes that individuals and families benefit most from therapy that is safe and collaborative. Joshua ’s integrative style allows him to pull from various models of therapy including cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, experiential, and other family therapy models. 

Outside of the therapy room, Joshua is a foodie and avid traveler who enjoys meeting new people and experiencing new surroundings. You can often find him spending time with his family, reading or playing sports.
