Are you accepting new clients? Do you provide in person and virtual sessions?

I am accepting new clients for in person and virtual sessions.

Who are your Clients?

I provided in person and virtual sessions to individuals residing in the state of North Carolina and virtual sessions to individuals residing in the state of Virginia. I do not have a physical location in the state of Virginia.

What are your rates and do you accept insurance?

I accept insurance through Headway for residents of North Carolina that have Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Oscar Health, United Healthcare, Oxford, Cigna, or Aetna. I am also an In-Network Tricare Provider. *Please note, I do not accept insurance for couples therapy. Instead, I will provide you with a superbill for you to seek reimbursement through your insurance.

For private pay clients, my rate is as follows:

  • Assessments (intake sessions) for individual therapy and couple therapy is $150

  • 60 minute sessions are $100

  • 90 minute sessions are $150

***Payment is due at the time of service unless a prior agreement has been made. Payments are made in the form of debit or credit card.

What can I expect during the first session and how long do appointments typically last?

Assessment/intake sessions lay the foundation for the therapeutic process and the therapist-client relationship. During this session, we will cover information gathering and assessments, informed consent and orientation to services, as well as goal setting for ongoing treatment.

What does confidentiality mean?

​The law protects the relationship between your therapist and yourself. Information cannot be disclosed without your permission, unless:

  • Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report to the appropriate authorities immediately.

  • If a client is threatening to harm themselves or another, I must inform the police and the intended victim.

  • If a client intends to harm themselves, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation ensuring their safety. If this is not possible, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
